Product & Fit
Each bag in our New Work collection is designed for a specific laptop size:
Jolene Tote:Up to 16" (e.g. MacBook Pro 16", Dell XPS 15)|1.1 kg-1.35kg
Ada Tote:Up to 16" (e.g. MacBook Pro 16", Dell XPS 15) | 800g
Potter 2-in-1 Backpack:Up to 13" (e.g. MacBook Air 13") | 880g
All laptop compartments are padded and structured to keep your device secure and protected. If you are unsure whether your specific laptop model fits, email us at service@victoria-hyde.com with the make and model — we will confirm for you before you order.
Note: If you carry a 15" or 16" laptop, we recommend the Jolene or Ada. The Potter is designed for 13" devices.
Every Victoria Hyde New Work Bag is built around 8 dedicated interior compartments — each designed for a specific item so everything has a fixed place:
1. Laptop compartment— padded, fits up to 16" (Jolene & Ada) or 13" (Potter)
2. Phone pocket — instant access, no digging
3. Key hook & pocket — keys never sink to the bottom again
4. Pen holder
5. AirPods / headphone compartment
6. Mouse pocket
7. Water bottle sleeve — fits most standard-size bottles (up to approx. 500ml / 7cm diameter)
8. Trolley strap — slides over your suitcase handle on travel days
Beyond these 8 compartments, the main cavity has additional space for documents, a small cosmetics pouch, chargers, and other daily essentials. The bag is designed around the principle of maximum capacity, minimum volume and weight — so you carry everything you need, without the bag feeling bulky.

For comparison, most traditional leather work bags weigh 1.5–2kg before you put anything inside.
When fully loaded with a 16" laptop, charger, water bottle, phone, and daily essentials, you can expect a total carry weight of approximately 3–4kg depending on your laptop model. The structured design distributes weight evenly, and the reinforced handles are designed for comfortable all-day carrying. If you have shoulder sensitivity, we recommend the Ada (our lightest option) or the Potter (which can be worn as a backpack to distribute weight across both shoulders).

The New Work Bag was designed to do both: elegant enough to carry into any boardroom, client meeting, or restaurant, and organised enough to replace a cluttered desk drawer.
The exterior features clean, structured lines inspired by British design, available in colours including black, orange, wine red, forest green, beige, and more. The vegan microfiber leather develops a subtle sheen with use and maintains its shape over time.

All Victoria Hyde London bags are made from “vegan microfiber leather”— a premium synthetic material engineered to look and feel like genuine leather while being lighter, more consistent in quality, and more resistant to everyday wear.

- Scratch-resistant— maintains its appearance through daily use
- Lightweight— significantly lighter than genuine leather
- Made from recycled materials — each bag uses the equivalent of approximately 10 recycled plastic bottles
Note: When you first receive your bag, the material may feel slightly firm. This is completely normal. Like quality leather, our vegan microfiber softens and becomes more supple with use over the first few weeks. The colour and texture you receive will match the product images on our website.
Our bags are designed and tested for high-frequency daily use — commuting, travel, office, and everything in between. If you experience any material defect within normal use, please contact us at service@victoria-hyde.com and we will resolve it.
Victoria Hyde London was founded in the UK in 2014 and is developed and managed from our Hamburg, Germany office. Our bags are manufactured in our own production facility, where we maintain direct oversight of every stage of the manufacturing process — from material sourcing to final quality inspection.
Every bag is inspected before shipping. We work with sustainable, recyclable materials and are committed to responsible production practices. If you ever receive a product that does not meet our quality standards, we will replace or repair it at no cost to you.
Shipping & Delivery
We process and dispatch orders within 1–2 business days of purchase. Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
- Germany & Austria:2–4 business days
- Rest of EU:3–7 business days
- United Kingdom:3–7 business days
- Rest of world:7–21 business days
Yes — we ship to over 40 countries worldwide, including all EU countries, the United Kingdom,Switzerland, Norway, and many countries across Asia.
If your country does not appear as an option at checkout:
1. Make sure you have selected the correct region from the currency/country selector at the top of our website
2. If your country is still not listed, email us at service@victoria-hyde.com with your delivery address and the items you would like to order — we will do our best to arrange shipping for you
A note on customs and import duties:For orders within the EU, there are no customs duties or import fees. For orders outside the EU (including the UK,and Switzerland), customs or import taxes may apply depending on your local regulations. These costs are set by your government and are not controlled by Victoria Hyde London. If you have questions about customs fees in your country, we recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering.
Yes — we offer free standard shipping across all EU countries on every order, with no minimum spend.
For orders outside the EU, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and chosen shipping method.
Returns & After-Sales
We offer returns within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be in their original, unused condition with all original packaging.
To initiate a return or exchange:
- Email us at with your order number and reason for return
- We will guide you through the process within 1–2 business days
Exchanges: If you would like to exchange your bag for a different colour or model, we are happy to arrange this subject to stock availability. Email us with your order number and your preferred alternative.
Third-party purchases (Zalando, About You, Amazon, etc.): If you purchased through a third-party retailer, please initiate your return through that retailer's returns process. For product questions, defects, or quality concerns on any Victoria Hyde product, you are always welcome to contact us directly at service@victoria-hyde.com regardless of where you purchased.
We stand fully behind the quality of every product we ship. If you receive a bag with a manufacturing defect, or if you experience unexpected material issues during normal use, please contact us at service@victoria-hyde.com with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- One or two photos if possible
We will assess the issue and offer a replacement, repair, or refund — whichever is most appropriate. We aim to respond to all quality-related enquiries within 48 hours.
Note on material wear: Vegan microfiber leather is highly durable for everyday use. If you experience unusual wear, peeling, or colour change that you believe is a material defect rather than normal use, please contact us — we take these reports seriously and use customer feedback to continuously improve our products.
You can return your items within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, no questions asked. Please ensure that items are returned in their original packaging, with all labels and protective stickers intact and unused.

Victoria Hyde London was founded in London in 2014 by entrepreneur Tian Yao — a multinational businesswoman and working mother who spent years frustrated by a specific problem: no bag on the market truly worked for the demands of a modern professional woman's life.
The “New Work Bag*” is the category she created to solve this: a bag that combines the elegance of a fashion accessory with the intelligent interior organisation of a professional tool. Warranty & Repair
All our products are subject to quality control.
Our warranty provides a guarantee against manufacturer defects.
The guarantee covers any manufacturing, design, or material defect. Please notify us within 2 months of notifying any defects.
It does not cover blows, improper use, or other issues that are not attributable to a manufacturer defects.
An extended warranty can be added to your products for an additional cost.
